How Heavy is a Tree? will be showing at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA, just outside of Sacramento. This work from the series “Photosynthesis” is comprised of three photographs of forest leaves made with an alternative digital technique that is done without colored lighting, filters, or digital manipulation. The effects dissolve space and creates tension between revealing and concealing, resulting in questions of perception, impermanence, and place. Curated by Emma Saperstein, Chief Curator at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, the exhibition runs Dec 3, 2022 – Jan 14, 2022.
