How Heavy is a Tree? will be showing at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA, just outside of Sacramento. This work from the series “Photosynthesis” is comprised of three photographs of forest leaves made with an alternative digital technique that is done without colored lighting, filters, or digital manipulation. The effects dissolve space and creates tension between revealing and concealing, resulting in questions of perception, impermanence, and place. Curated by Emma Saperstein, Chief Curator at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, the exhibition runs Dec 3, 2022 – Jan 14, 2022.
My photo is included in Nocturnes: Dusk Till Dawn at Praxis Gallery, Mpls. through Oct. 29. There is a lot of reflection in this installation shot, but it still looks cute :).
New: My photo, Still Life: Rock, will be included in the online exhibition Seeing Beyond: Photography and Digital Art, hosted by the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Pawtucket, RI, from Aug. 20th - Sept.r 17th. Here is an image of Still Life: Bark, which they declined to include (lol):
